A Design for Living

A Design for Living is a rehabilitation center founded and managed by Justin Coggins, who envisioned creating a beautifully designed and upscale sober living environment specifically for men. Having experienced four years in recovery himself, he was motivated to establish a supportive space that would foster healing and improvement in their lives. Alongside him are other sober individuals dedicated to recovery, contributing to the management of the center. Residents at A Design for Living enjoy greater autonomy compared to traditional treatment facilities. They are introduced to 12 Step programs, which allow them to connect with fellow recovering individuals. In addition to the guidance from these programs, the men participate in peer-led support groups that provide further accountability throughout their recovery journey. The center also offers reliable transportation services and assists residents in securing employment opportunities. With 11 sober living locations spread across middle Tennessee, men can select their preferred home based on what is most convenient for them.

The center focuses on addressing issues related to substance use disorders, guiding individuals toward stabilization, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and fostering connections to supportive care.
