Adult and Teen Challenge Kansas

Adult & Teen Challenge was established by David Wilkerson after he engaged with gang members in New York, recognizing that substance abuse issues like alcoholism and drug addiction were central to their struggles. Now, Adult & Teen Challenge operates over 215 residential facilities across Canada and the United States, with ATC Kansas being one of them. This program centers on Christian teachings and utilizes a Bible-centered curriculum. Participants engage in sermons, Bible study sessions, prayer, spiritual retreats, and work therapy throughout their journey. The program comprises five phases, with individuals generally remaining for a duration of 13 months or more.

At this center, the main focus is on addressing issues related to substance use disorders. Here, individuals are guided towards stabilization, develop strategies to prevent relapse, and gain access to a network of caring support.
