Avera Addiction Care Center is a residential facility located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, specializing in addiction treatment. Affiliated with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation Patient Care Network, it incorporates the esteemed Hazelden curriculum into its comprehensive care. The center's multidisciplinary team includes experienced professionals such as therapists with master’s degrees, psychiatrists, and nursing staff who implement evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group sessions, motivational interviewing, and the 12-Step approach. Spanning 20,000 square feet, Avera Addiction Care Center offers a spacious environment for clients during their 28-day residential program. Each client is assigned a private room, with men and women accommodated in separate wings. The center features a recreation room, a meditation area, a fitness center, outdoor gardens, and scenic walking trails. In addition, Avera serves three meals each day, all prepared on-site, ensuring a comfortable setting conducive to relaxation and personal growth throughout the treatment process.

The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance use disorders alongside concurrent mental health issues. Each treatment strategy is tailored to tackle both aspects simultaneously, ensuring empathetic and individualized care for complete recovery.
