About
The Behavioral Health Programs center provides extensive support for individuals grappling with drug or alcohol dependency, mental health issues, or a combination of both. They have a focus on assisting those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), especially veterans and active military personnel. The experienced team of healthcare professionals, including therapists and doctors, is well-versed in the unique challenges faced by service members, often addressing PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and military-related traumas. The center offers a range of services including detoxification, residential treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and options for sober living. One key aim of Behavioral Health Programs is to create a nurturing, home-like atmosphere that promotes healing. The facility has been intentionally designed to avoid the cold, clinical ambiance typical of many rehabilitation centers, instead fostering a warm and inviting space for recovery.
Patients may start with detox if advised by the medical staff. After detox, most individuals typically transition to residential treatment for approximately six weeks, during which they attend daily therapy sessions and receive medical support, which may involve medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Throughout both residential treatment and the IOP, patients acquire new coping strategies, form self-care plans, participate in physical activities and nutritious meals, and learn skills for conflict resolution while exploring the underlying causes of their trauma and addiction. For those opting into the IOP, Behavioral Health Programs provide sober living arrangements to further support their journey to recovery.
Treatment Focus
The center specializes in addressing issues related to substance abuse and mental health. Clients benefit from personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and diagnoses, acquire essential recovery skills, and engage in building supportive relationships within a healing atmosphere.
