Birmingham Metro Treatment Center functions as an outpatient facility dedicated to supporting individuals dealing with opioid addiction. The center’s team consists of experienced addiction professionals and counselors who are committed to developing individualized treatment strategies within their outpatient setting. They cater to clients in Birmingham and the nearby regions, including Hoover and Bessemer. This center provides a range of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) alternatives, including medications like methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, all given under the supervision of qualified medical staff to ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere during the withdrawal phase. Their MAT offerings focus on addressing dependencies on various opioids, whether they are illicit or prescribed, such as codeine, morphine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, heroin, and fentanyl. Clients engage in counseling through individual, group, and family sessions aimed at fostering a better understanding of their addiction. Additionally, Birmingham Metro Treatment Center offers medical assessments, referral services, take-home support, and continuous outpatient care to promote long-term recovery. Services at Birmingham Metro are available from Monday to Friday, beginning at 5 AM and concluding at 1:30 PM, with hours on Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 10 AM, and during holidays from 6 AM to 8 AM. This center is one of five New Season/Metro Treatment facilities located throughout Alabama.
