With 15 outpatient locations throughout Tennessee, as well as two immersive retreats focused on 12-step principles and a residential facility, this non-profit organization has been dedicated to individualized care since its establishment in 1966. Their mission is to tailor treatment plans to meet the distinct needs of each client. To ensure the highest level of effectiveness, Cumberland Heights utilizes evidence-based methods, which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and 12-step facilitation. Additionally, they offer a variety of experiential therapies designed for a comprehensive treatment experience, such as adventure therapy, art therapy, music therapy, spiritual care, recreational therapy, mindfulness practices, and yoga. Telehealth services are also offered for increased accessibility.
