EDCare Kansas City is an inclusive and supportive facility dedicated to addressing eating disorders in both adults and adolescents. Located in downtown Oakland Park near the Missouri border, this center features a clinical campus along with partial hospitalization accommodations. EDCare Kansas City emphasizes a holistic approach to recovery, focusing on experiential therapies and helping individuals reconnect with their true selves. Among the various therapeutic options available are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), nutritional counseling, and multifamily process groups. The center also offers experiential therapies such as yoga, movement therapy, psychodrama, art therapy, and culinary classes. EDCare Kansas City is equipped to treat various eating disorders, including bulimia, binge eating, and other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSEFED). Additionally, specialized programs are available for athletes, those dealing with substance use issues, binge eating, and trauma within their PHP and IOP frameworks, as well as a dedicated evening intensive outpatient (EIOP) program for adolescents.

EDCare Kansas City’s PHP housing offers a cozy, homelike environment with a living room, dining space, and shared bedrooms, accommodating up to four clients at once. They accept a range of public and private insurance plans and hold Joint Commission accreditation.
