The residential and intensive outpatient programs include both individual and group therapy sessions, community 12-Step gatherings, education on nutrition and addiction, life skills development, and aftercare planning. A family program is also incorporated to support healing for both clients and their loved ones. Key therapeutic objectives involve reconnecting individuals with their authentic selves, confronting self-deception, and fostering community ties to combat the isolating nature of addiction. Nestled in a historic, renovated manor in the serene Louisiana countryside, Edgefield Recovery Center spans 27 acres, featuring lush greenery, a pecan orchard, and a bayou that gently flows through the property. The manor accommodates up to 70 clients, providing shared living spaces, a communal kitchen, and a lounge area. The center operates as a blackout facility, prohibiting the use of personal cell phones and laptops. Edgefield accepts a variety of payment methods, including private insurance, third-party payers, and Medicaid, and holds Joint Commission accreditation.
