About
Eudaimonia Recovery Homes in Austin provides affordable and structured sober living arrangements specifically for women, allowing them to gain support as they reintegrate into their community. The center features two residences within Austin designed to accommodate women, including those who are pregnant, though it does not permit children. All new residents must have maintained sobriety for a minimum of 30 days prior to moving into the home. A live-in house manager oversees the sober living environment, and the program establishes clear expectations for its residents. Participants are obligated to undergo regular drug and alcohol screenings at least twice weekly, attend a designated number of 12-Step meetings, and engage in Eudaimonia's comprehensive three-phase program. As residents successfully meet the goals set for each phase, they are granted new responsibilities or rewards. The program mandates participation in three meetings each week, with those under 25 required to attend an extra meeting, such as College Students in Recovery (CSR). Eudaimonia additionally offers an intensive outpatient program that includes group sessions three times a week for an extra fee. While residents can have their own vehicles, the homes are conveniently located within walking distance of grocery stores, dining options, and other local amenities. Public transportation also services the area, and individuals are welcome to stay at the sober living homes for as long as necessary.
To enhance recovery support, Eudaimonia collaborates with Measure Act Prevent (MAP), which provides personalized assistance through recovery support specialists. Participants can access Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) upon entering the sober living program. This service is initially available for a period of 90 days but can be extended for up to a year or more. The program includes creating an individualized treatment profile, weekly and bi-weekly support meetings, round-the-clock access to live recovery assistance, and bi-monthly family sessions with MAP.
