Focused Recovery Center (FAR) is a dual-diagnosis outpatient treatment center dedicated to assisting adults who face challenges with substance abuse and accompanying mental health issues. They provide a range of services, including outpatient detoxification and relapse prevention programs, all founded on a holistic and evidence-based approach adhering to the 12-step recovery model. At Focused Recovery, treatment plans are customized to meet individual needs, encompassing different levels of outpatient care. Their most comprehensive program is the partial hospitalization program (PHP), where participants experience an intensive treatment regimen akin to residential care but without living in the facility. PHP is available for those who have completed residential treatment or as an alternative for those who do not require inpatient care. This day program typically runs 3-5 days a week for 4-6 hours each day. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) serves as a subsequent phase after PHP for clients. Those enrolled in IOP engage in treatment 3-4 days per week for 2-4 hours per session. Patients transitioning from PHP will continue to follow their personalized treatment plans while gradually addressing daily responsibilities. For individuals whose needs don't necessitate more intensive interventions, starting treatment directly at the IOP level is an option, and a virtual IOP format enhances accessibility. Clients entering either the PHP or IOP will undergo an initial assessment to determine their specific treatment requirements and create a tailored plan. The skilled team at FAR employs a holistic methodology, incorporating evidence-based therapies alongside the 12-step program framework. Participants may access individual, group, and family therapy, addiction education, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Therapeutic techniques may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address substance dependency and mental health challenges. FAR also provides various recovery-oriented programs, including support groups and 12-step meetings, counseling for relapse prevention, a DWI support program for those convicted of driving offenses, and a general outpatient program (OP) that allows clients to engage in ongoing therapy sessions either in person or online. Their outpatient detox services enable clients to receive daily clinical support while living at home. Medical personnel track withdrawal symptoms and offer MAT to help minimize discomfort and cravings as needed. Medication management services are available, allowing a psychologist to assess or modify existing mental health medications or initiate new prescriptions when appropriate. In addition to outpatient services, FAR offers a sober living program that creates a supportive environment for clients transitioning from inpatient care to independent living. This program ensures a drug-free space where individuals can receive guidance and support as they reintegrate into society. Regular drug testing, curfews, household responsibilities, as well as access to recovery meetings and various forms of support are integrated into this structured setting. Eligibility for sober living requires clients to have completed either a residential or intensive outpatient program beforehand. Focused Addiction Recovery is accredited by CARF and accepts most major insurance plans, with options for private payment available.
