Integrative Life Center Men's Intimacy Program

Integrative Life Center (ILC) offers a dedicated rehabilitation program tailored for men aged 18 and older who struggle with intimacy disorders, attachment issues, love and pornography addictions, as well as relationship difficulties and sexual compulsions. Situated in a cozy log cabin in the Nashville region, this 28-day program accommodates up to 8 participants, ensuring a focused and personal experience. Each week, men engage in 35 hours of group therapy, alongside two individual sessions led by therapists with master's degrees. Participants benefit from a mix of catered and home-cooked meals throughout their stay. In addition to extensive therapeutic support, they also have regular interactions with the medical team to manage medication and psychiatric needs. Recognizing that sexual addictions often coincide with other mental health issues, the clinical and medical staff collaborate to treat conditions such as depression, antisocial personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Utilizing approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodrama, mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing, men are encouraged to examine their past traumas and current relationships. The treatment adheres to the Trauma Induced Sexual Addiction model (TINSA), which applies a neurobiological perspective to effectively identify and address sexual addiction. Additionally, the center provides a virtual support program for partners, running concurrently with the men’s residential treatment.
