Individuals interested in joining this program must first undergo an assessment and, if detoxification is required, are referred to Covington Behavioral before they can be admitted to Longbranch Recovery and Wellness. The center's treatment framework incorporates the 12-step philosophy alongside SMART recovery techniques. For clients with dual diagnoses, the facility offers medication management as well as daily individual therapy sessions. Treatment modalities include The Minnesota Model, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), experiential therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). The facility is co-ed, with men and women residing on separate floors.
