Clients also have the chance to take part in experiential therapies such as animal-assisted therapy, wilderness therapy, art therapy, sand-tray therapy, music therapy, and adventure therapy. Following the residential phase, clients transition to a Day Treatment or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), allowing them to live at home while still participating in daily therapeutic activities and meal preparation in the evenings. Magnolia Creek additionally hosts a three-day intensive family program monthly and provides ongoing aftercare support. Nestled in a serene and picturesque area in Columbiana, Alabama, roughly an hour southeast of Birmingham, Magnolia Creek is set on a lovely 40-acre property featuring a large private lake. The colonial-style house accommodates up to 14 residents, offering cozy lodging, a fireplace in the living room, and a wraparound porch ideal for relaxation.
