MK Boys Academy is a residential facility dedicated to the rehabilitation of young males facing substance abuse and mental health challenges. It offers a secure and structured setting where adolescents can begin their recovery journey, fostering healing, education, and personal development. Addressing issues ranging from depression and suicidal thoughts to drug and alcohol dependency, the center provides compassionate care for a duration of 30 to 90 days, focusing on both physical health and emotional resilience. Through individualized clinical approaches, they assist young men and their families in navigating their recovery with understanding and optimism. At MK Boys Academy, the focus is on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit by blending therapy, educational pursuits, and healthy daily practices. A variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities are utilized, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Techniques such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) are customized to meet each adolescent's unique needs. The academy also collaborates closely with families, offering essential support and resources to facilitate healing at home and within the rehabilitation program. Teen boys flourish in a secure and supportive environment nestled near hiking trails and horses, just outside of Los Angeles. With a staffing ratio of 2-3 caregivers per adolescent and a maximum of six residents, personalized attention is consistently delivered in a protected setting, where all staff undergo thorough background checks. Residents have the option of private or shared en-suite accommodations that are well-appointed with ample beds, flat-screen televisions, and spacious closets. The center features recreational amenities including a billiards room, a full arcade, and an on-site gym that offers boxing and yoga sessions.
