New Vision Recovery

New Vision Recovery is a sober living facility situated in the beautiful city of Nashville, Tennessee. It provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both men and women, aimed at enabling them to concentrate entirely on their recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Participants engage in various weekly activities, such as morning meditation five days a week, community discussions, 12-Step meetings, and a Recovery Dynamics group. These gatherings foster a sense of belonging, which is essential during the initial stages of recovery. Residents start at Level 3, the most structured and interactive level of assistance, tailored for individuals transitioning from residential treatment or those with limited recovery experience. The support from both staff and the community is pivotal as residents adapt to sober living in a real-world setting. This phase includes weekly recovery coaching and life skills training, alongside collaboration among staff, therapists, and family. All residents are encouraged to complete "90 in 90," attending 90 recovery meetings within their first 90 days. After completing the initial 90 days, residents can apply for Level 2, granting them increased freedom and the opportunity to seek assistance as needed. They have more autonomy in selecting which meetings to participate in each month (while still meeting monthly minimums) and meet with their counselor for bi-monthly recovery coaching sessions. Additionally, residents are encouraged to maintain a consistent routine of work, volunteer endeavors, or educational pursuits, with a recommended minimum of 30 hours weekly. Those in Level 2 are regarded as “Senior Residents” and serve as role models for newer members, aiding them in cultivating self-assurance and strengthening community connections.
