About
Pacific Quest Hawaii offers two distinct therapeutic programs designed for adolescents and young adults, both of which incorporate elements of wilderness therapy. The adolescent program serves young individuals aged 13 to 17 and utilizes the Sustainable Growth Model, emphasizing clinicians, horticultural therapy, experiential learning, and nature-based metaphors to facilitate transformative experiences. Similarly, the young adult program caters to individuals aged 18 to 24, fostering personal development through an advanced clinical framework. This framework encompasses neuropsychology, horticultural therapy, integrative psychiatry, naturopathic practices, rites of passage, and practical life skills. Participants in the young adult program are encouraged to engage with their community and develop healthy interpersonal relationships.
Additionally, Pacific Quest Hawaii provides an accredited educational curriculum for those adolescents and young adults who have yet to finish high school. Clients at Pacific Quest actively participate in local horticulture, learning gardening techniques and sustainable life practices. The outdoor therapy component is blended with experiential therapeutic strategies to promote profound healing. The center's distinctive methodology aids clients in participating in impactful experiences that foster comprehensive wellness. Pacific Quest Hawaii suggests that clients reach out to their insurance providers to understand the reimbursement procedures, as most insurance plans typically do not cover the total cost of programs, instead only covering provider hours that may include portions of individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Treatment Focus
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing mental health issues alongside substance use disorders. Here, you will benefit from personalized and team-oriented care that focuses on both aspects for comprehensive recovery.

Providers Policy
At Pacific Quest Hawaii, we understand that navigating insurance and payment options can be an essential part of the treatment process. We encourage prospective clients and their families to reach out to their insurance providers to confirm coverage for our therapeutic programs. It is important to note that while some insurance plans may partially reimburse for treatment costs, coverage typically only extends to provider hours, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Pacific Quest offers comprehensive therapy programs for adolescents and young adults featuring unique wilderness components designed to promote personal growth and whole-person wellness. Our accredited academic curriculum, which supports students who have not yet completed high school, is also a critical aspect of our offerings.
To facilitate a smooth transition and maximize potential reimbursement, we recommend that clients obtain a clear understanding of their insurance benefits and any requirements necessary for reimbursement at the outset of treatment. Our admissions team is available to assist you with any questions regarding our programs and to provide additional support as you engage with your insurance provider. Your journey towards recovery and growth is important to us, and we strive to ensure that you have all the resources needed to access our services.
