About
Pavillon serves as a rehabilitation facility dedicated to assisting men and women grappling with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. This center runs a comprehensive six-week residential program, maintaining an impressive counselor-to-patient ratio of one counselor for every six individuals. Pavillon tailors its treatment offerings based on gender, age, and specific needs of the clients. They provide medically supervised detoxification and operate as a private, non-profit organization focused on addiction recovery. Since its establishment in 1996, Pavillon has been assisting clients within its beautiful 160-acre setting in the western region of North Carolina. The facility embraces the 12-Step approach and facilitates both Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, integrating holistic methods into its treatment philosophy. Evidence-based therapeutic practices utilized include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), expressive arts therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), narrative therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). With a capacity of 50 beds, including 24 designated for extended care, Pavillon also offers financial support options for qualifying patients while incorporating health, wellness, and spiritual programs into their recovery process.
Situated in the scenic mountains of western North Carolina, Pavillon utilizes the natural environment to enhance recovery through activities such as meditation, hiking, and other outdoor pursuits. The center features both semi-private and private living arrangements for clients, housed within a modern lodge comprised of various buildings. On-site amenities include a 12-Step meditation pathway, a volleyball court, and a firepit, along with proximity to stunning waterfalls. Recognizing the vital role of nutrition in the recovery journey, Pavillon employs skilled chefs with restaurant experience to craft meals that prioritize fresh, local ingredients aimed at delivering balanced and nutritious dining options.
