Pure Life offers a distinctive adventure therapy approach to address mental health issues for adolescents and young adults. Their 12-week residential program, set in Costa Rica, combines individual and group therapy, life skills development, meditation, mindfulness practices, and adventure-based activities to facilitate healing for young individuals. The program tackles an array of challenges such as anxiety, depression, body image concerns, trauma, low self-esteem, and substance use. Situated in the picturesque environment of Costa Rica, participants have the chance to engage in various adventure therapy experiences throughout the program. Activities include surfing, whitewater rafting, hiking, and rappelling. Alongside these adventures, clients also partake in regular health and wellness activities such as yoga, fitness classes, and meditation. To prioritize safety, all participants undergo water rescue certification and wilderness first aid training. The program features both campus-based itineraries and adventure itineraries, with students frequently engaging in camping experiences.
