Resource Residential Treatment Center

Situated in the vibrant city of Indianapolis, Resource Treatment Center offers residential care for adolescents, teenagers, and young adults aged 11 to 21 who are facing challenges related to mood and behavioral health. The center caters to those with emotional and behavioral issues that necessitate a supervised environment, especially when such challenges have caused disturbances at home, school, or within the juvenile justice system. The treatment framework at Resource consists of four distinct phases: Identify, Connect, Demonstrate, and Contribute. During these stages, residents engage in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including individual, group, and family therapy. In the initial stage, residents collaborate with staff to gain insight into the reasons for their admission to Resource. Following this, they focus on acquiring new skills and learning how to effectively implement them in real-life situations. As they progress, they begin to practice and apply the skills they have learned. In the final stage, residents are encouraged to give back to the community through pro-social activities, utilizing the skills they have developed during their time at the center. Resource Treatment Center also features an accredited in-house educational program, provided by the Indianapolis Public School System. Classes, led by certified special education teachers, run for three hours each day and offer options for credit recovery as well as GED preparation. The center accepts a variety of major insurance plans, including Medicaid.
