Spark Recovery Center

Situated in the northern part of Indianapolis, Spark Recovery provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care alongside medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for those facing substance use issues and concurrent mental health challenges in an outpatient environment. Spark Recovery's day treatment program is intensive, running 5 days a week for 5 hours daily, serving as both an alternative to and a transitional step from residential care. Participants engage in group therapy, one-on-one counseling, family support sessions, and medication management. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) allows for more scheduling flexibility, featuring 3-hour group sessions at least 3 times a week, supplemented by individual counseling and family meetings. For clients who require less intensive care or are looking for maintenance support, the center offers an outpatient group that meets for 1 hour weekly. Offering a range of evidence-based therapies, Spark Recovery utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care (TIC), and motivational interviewing (MI) in its approach. Clients also benefit from expressive therapies, group engagements, family meetings, and educational workshops. In addition, Spark Recovery incorporates both 12-Step and non 12-Step methodologies into its treatment framework, including options like SMART Recovery and Celebrate Recovery.
