St. Gregory Recovery Center

Established in 2006 by Michael and Rose Marie Vasquez, St. Gregory Recovery Center has been serving clients with rehabilitation services for over a decade. This center provides gender-specific residential treatment along with medical detoxification and ongoing support aftercare. St. Gregory Recovery Center embraces the belief that addiction is not a permanent state. Their approach aims to heal the entire individual and enhance their capacity for making constructive decisions. The program is non-12-Step and faith-oriented, emphasizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, life coaching, and physical health. Additionally, St. Gregory Recovery Center features a skilled team dedicated to equipping clients with new skills that positively impact their lives and aid in overcoming addiction. While the facility may incorporate spiritual elements as part of the therapeutic process, it does not impose any religious practices on clients. Situated in Bayard, Iowa, St. Gregory offers gender-specific accommodations. The men's section can house 56 individuals, while the women's area accommodates 28. These residential spaces include comfortable semi-private suites with personal bathrooms and showers. Residents have access to laundry facilities and recreational activities at no extra charge. Both the residential and detox units allow caffeine, and tobacco use is permitted in the residential area. Meals are crafted by an on-site chef who prepares three meals daily, fostering family-style dining to encourage healthy interactions among residents. A key focus on physical well-being is integral to the program, providing clients access to a gym, an indoor basketball court, and an outdoor volleyball court. St. Gregory Recovery Center holds accreditation from CARF and accepts a majority of private insurance plans.

The rehabilitation center provides specialized treatment for substance use disorders alongside related mental health issues. Each individual’s treatment plan is tailored to address all conditions simultaneously, ensuring a holistic approach with empathetic and dedicated care for complete recovery.
