Starlite Recovery Center

Starlite Recovery Center has been supporting individuals since 1957. The center provides detoxification, residential treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and telehealth options. Starlite Recovery employs evidence-based methods to assist each person in overcoming addiction and accompanying mental health issues. In addition to substance use disorders, they address anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They also facilitate family healing through weekly therapy sessions and educational groups. The detox process at Starlite Recovery Center is monitored around the clock by nursing staff and includes daily examinations by an on-site physician. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as required or upon request. Every client participates in a one-on-one therapy session weekly and engages in daily group therapy. Their therapeutic activities include 12-Step “Big Book” study, Seeking Safety methodology, Refuge Recovery, and SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training). Evidence-based interventions at Starlite encompass cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused CBT, equine-assisted therapy (EAT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Starlite Recovery Center features tailored treatment pathways for Veterans, First Responders, Christians, and LGBTQ individuals. Each pathway is designed to meet the specific needs of its participants, fostering an inclusive and empathetic environment. Moreover, Starlite provides support for clients' families, offering not only weekly family therapy but also a 2-day program focused on addiction education, relapse prevention, effective communication, codependency, and establishing healthy boundaries. Clients at Starlite Recovery Center have the opportunity to engage in numerous wellness activities and adventure therapies. The center offers yoga, acupuncture, and personal training sessions. Facilities include a ropes course, climbing wall, and mini golf course, alongside 55 acres of landscaped grounds with walking trails.
