Teen Challenge Ruth’s Haven Teen Girl’s Center

Located on a serene 30-acre ranch between two mountain ranges, the rehabilitation center offers support for girls aged 12 to 17 who have faced exploitation, trafficking, abuse, addiction, and trauma. This long-term program spans 12 to 18 months and provides structured support through counseling, mentoring, and a secure, faith-oriented environment aimed at achieving profound emotional and spiritual healing. Daily life combines therapeutic sessions with enriching activities such as hiking, volunteering at local churches, exploring nearby hot springs, baking, engaging in crafts, and caring for animals. The presence of goats and chickens allows for animal therapy, promoting a sense of responsibility and empathy. These experiences not only facilitate healing but also foster resilience, teamwork, and instill a sense of purpose in each girl’s journey. Participants pursue their education through accredited online high school programs, with the option to earn a diploma upon completion. The campus offers comfortable accommodations, wholesome meals, and chances to assist with cooking and household tasks. Job readiness training, spiritual guidance, and various facilities create a comprehensive nurturing environment where girls develop emotionally, academically, and practically, preparing them for lasting success in life.

The primary focus of this center is on addressing issues related to substance use disorders. It assists individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and finding supportive and caring resources for their journey.
