Nestled in the eastern suburbs of Green Bay, Willow Creek Behavioral Health offers comprehensive treatment for various mental health issues and substance use disorders, including those with dual diagnoses. The center provides multiple levels of care, including inpatient services, day treatment (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), the latter of which is also known as "part-time outpatient care." For individuals facing concurrent substance addiction, Willow Creek features on-site detoxification with round-the-clock monitoring and medication-assisted therapy. The treatment team at Willow Creek is comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, medical doctors, nursing personnel, therapists, and behavioral health specialists. Their approach is both evidence-based and trauma-informed, integrating counseling, occupational therapy, recreational activities, and mindfulness practices. The staff is equipped to prescribe medications for mental health concerns and addiction management, although they do not provide buprenorphine prescriptions; however, they can administer these medications if clients arrive with an existing prescription, ensuring a safe detox process. Willow Creek welcomes clients for immediate assistance, including walk-in crisis care. The inpatient program caters to clients aged 5 and up, offering tailored therapies for children, teens, adults, and seniors, with a unique older adult program that includes caregiver education to strengthen familial relationships and ensure lasting success post-treatment. Outpatient programs are specifically designed for adults. The adult day program operates on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. for approximately three weeks, while the adult IOP is available on weekdays at either 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., allowing clients to seamlessly integrate their treatment into daily life for as long as necessary. Participation can occur in-person or through virtual sessions. Willow Creek also offers optional holistic therapies such as art, gardening, and yoga. Their gardening initiative runs through late fall to encourage clients to reconnect with nature, while the yoga program enhances meditative and mindfulness practices, tailored to clients' comfort levels. The aim of these holistic therapies is to foster a nurturing environment for both the mind and body. To support this, Willow Creek's campus features semi-private rooms to enhance social interactions, three outdoor courtyards, a gym, and classroom spaces designed for various activities. Clients at Willow Creek are provided with a diverse menu that includes tacos, hamburgers, fish, brats, salad bars, eggs, bacon, toast, French toast, biscuits and gravy, as well as juice, milk, and desserts. Additionally, there are vending machines for soda and coffee, allowing clients to enjoy the same meals as the staff.
