A Positive Alternative (APA) specializes in state-certified intensive outpatient programs that feature carefully curated gender-specific groups for men and women. Each group is limited to 6-8 participants, ensuring a tailored treatment experience. APA's mission is to connect substance use recovery with mental health support by incorporating individual therapy, family workshops, and mindfulness-based strategies, alongside naturopathic wellness practices. This evidence-based, non-12-Step methodology provides a different route to recovery by focusing on the underlying issues related to substance use and equipping individuals with the necessary skills for enduring transformation. Participants frequently complete the program with healthier self-perceptions and meaningful relationships with fellow group members, fostering a support network that lasts beyond the rehabilitation phase.
