Adult and Teen Challenge Graham Women's Campus

About

Situated on a lush expanse in a quiet suburb of Tacoma, the Adult and Teen Challenge Graham Women’s Campus provides a faith-based rehabilitation program tailored for women facing addiction issues. Established by David Wilkerson in 1960, this organization has grown to encompass nearly 250 centers across the U.S. and more than 1,000 worldwide in 95 countries. The Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge programs require a $500 intake fee, while there are no additional monthly charges for the duration of the stay. The Graham Women’s Campus runs a one-year program designed to accommodate up to 28 women and serves individuals from the greater Puget Sound region, located about 45 miles from Seattle and close to Mount Rainier. The program emphasizes a Bible-centered approach, aiming to achieve recovery from the pain of addiction, foster reconciliation with Jesus Christ and others, and inspire personal transformation grounded in faith. Participants engage in sermons and Bible study sessions, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training throughout their time in the program. It’s important to note that Adult and Teen Challenge does not have medical staff available, so individuals must undergo detoxification before being admitted. To maintain a focus on their recovery journey, contact with anyone outside immediate family is minimized, and the use of electronic devices is prohibited. The center also enforces a no-smoking policy to support a healthy recovery environment.

Providers Policy

At the Adult and Teen Challenge Graham Women’s Campus, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive support and recovery for women facing substance use concerns through our Christ-centered program. For individuals considering admission, it is important to note our payment structure and the absence of traditional insurance coverage. The program requires a one-time intake fee of $500, which is due upon admission. Following this initial payment, there are no additional monthly costs throughout the duration of the one-year program. This straightforward fee structure allows participants to focus fully on their recovery and spiritual growth without the burden of ongoing expenses. Currently, we do not accept health insurance, and our program does not include medical staff. Therefore, it is essential for all participants to have completed detox prior to entrance into our treatment program. We believe in creating a conducive environment for recovery, which includes limited contact with individuals outside of immediate family and a restriction on electronic devices. We encourage prospective participants and their families to reach out for more information on our program, as well as alternative funding options that may be available. Our primary goal is to support each woman in her journey towards healing and transformation through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
