Adult and Teen Challenge Sonrise

Adult & Teen Challenge originated with David Wilkerson, who recognized the link between substance abuse and the struggles faced by gang members in New York. Today, Adult & Teen Challenge boasts over 215 facilities across Canada and the United States, including ATC Sonrise, which was established in 1988 on a 70-acre site in Cache, Oklahoma. This residential program centers around Christian values and employs a curriculum rooted in the Bible. Participants engage in sermons, Bible study, prayer sessions, spiritual retreats, and work therapy throughout their time in the program. It comprises five distinct phases, with individuals generally remaining for at least 13 months.

This center focuses on addressing substance use disorders by assisting individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking them to supportive resources.
