About
Adult & Teen Challenge of Duluth provides residential treatment services for adult males and outpatient care for both men and women. The center's approach is rooted in a Christian Discipleship model, featuring a faith-centered curriculum that entails a 1-year commitment through four progressive levels of care: Recovery, Renewal, Restoration, and Transition. The program emphasizes spiritual, emotional, and physical healing while offering social and educational resources designed to equip individuals for life after overcoming addiction. As a nonprofit organization, Adult and Teen Challenge maintains low fees, prioritizing long-lasting recovery regardless of the time required.
Level 1 (14 weeks): Recovery In this initial phase, residents engage in classes that focus on identifying and modifying harmful thought patterns and beliefs. They gain insight into the unmet needs that drove their substance use and develop coping strategies to manage cravings.
Level 2 (12 weeks): Renewal During this stage, residents immerse themselves in mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual healing, addressing the underlying issues related to addiction.
Level 3 (12 weeks): Restoration and Healing Here, individuals delve into discovering their life's purpose and envisioning a future free from substances. This level emphasizes building a strong foundation for the future while helping residents recognize their unique abilities and strengths.
Level 4 (12 weeks): Transition In the final phase, residents begin implementing the skills and knowledge they have acquired. They secure jobs and stable housing while learning time and resource management, ultimately evolving into community leaders committed to contributing positively.
