About
Founded in 1957, Alina Lodge operates as a non-profit facility dedicated to helping individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues, including eating disorders. The center employs a 12-Step, abstinence-oriented philosophy, focusing on an integrated approach to healing that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit through sincerity and empathy. Alina Lodge provides supervised detoxification services and requires a minimum residential commitment of 28 days. Moreover, they feature a sober living environment for women and encourage all participants to engage in their extensive alumni network.
At Alina Lodge, clients have access to a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods delivered by a team of psychologists, therapists, and counselors. Treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based relapse prevention, family therapy, and grief counseling. Each client undergoes a thorough medical and psychiatric assessment to identify their mental health and detoxification requirements. The staff compassionately confronts clients' behavior patterns, guiding them toward introspection and recovery.
The center effectively addresses both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger management issues. Additionally, eating disorders are treated with the support of nutritionists and specialists in eating disorders. Their specialized groups cater to diverse needs, including young adults, grief support, gambling issues, sexual compulsivity, spiritual guidance from an on-site priest, and relationship challenges. Alina Lodge also has a comprehensive family program that includes therapy, education, and mutual support among families.
Families are invited to have an initial 2-hour consultation with Alina Lodge’s clinical staff to explore their concerns, objectives, and requirements. They also participate in weekly process groups with other families, many of whom have had loved ones complete the program. Families can visit their relatives on weekends and join in 12-Step meetings.
The tranquil and private campus of Alina Lodge provides a conducive environment for recovery, offering a residential program that lasts 28 days or longer, based on individual circumstances. Men and women are accommodated in separate lodges, receiving treatment individually. In particular situations, clients may have restricted work opportunities. Committed discharge planners assist clients in transitioning to ongoing care, coordinating appointments, referrals, or extended stays at Alina Lodge as necessary. Following their treatment, clients can become part of a vibrant alumni community, participating in regular activities with staff and fellow alumni. The sober living home for women ensures tailored support, a structured living situation, and a nurturing community for women in recovery.
