To effectively address the needs of their clients, AMFM conducts thorough assessments to gain insight into their symptoms, backgrounds, and strengths. This information allows them to develop tailored treatment plans that align with each individual's situation. They cater to both primary and co-occurring disorders and deliver an extensive 60 hours of clinical programming each week, featuring medication oversight, several individual therapy sessions weekly, family therapy, and case management. AMFM employs a compassionate, evidence-based methodology aimed at identifying the underlying factors contributing to mental health issues, alongside medication when appropriate. A team of licensed professionals utilizes a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and more. Notably, they also offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Clients benefit from weekly sessions with a psychiatric expert and bi-weekly individualized counseling. Mindfulness practices are woven throughout the program to augment the effectiveness of evidence-based treatments, while clients also participate in life skills training and psychoeducation. Nestled in Vienna, AMFM’s residential center exudes a tranquil, homely vibe. The facility features both private and semi-private accommodations, inviting common areas, dedicated therapeutic spaces, and a charming backyard with a relaxing porch. With a commitment to a well-rounded recovery approach, the center offers various therapeutic modalities, including somatic experiencing, equine therapy, creative writing, pet therapy, psychodrama, art therapy, yoga, and expressive arts therapy. Upon completion of residential care, AMFM ensures ongoing support through comprehensive aftercare services, which include group therapy, family follow-up counseling, professional re-entry assistance, and engaging events for alumni, maintaining a continuous support network.
