Andy's House

Located just a short 5-minute stroll from the St. Lawrence River, Andy’s House was established and continues to be run by individuals who have experienced long-term recovery, alongside dedicated professionals. The center provides various treatment options, including residential care, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and aftercare services. Clients can select from a 90-day residential program, a 35-day residential program coupled with a 16-week IOP, or a standalone 16-week IOP. Andy’s House employs the Minnesota 12-Step approach within its treatment framework. The center offers a range of therapeutic options, such as psychoeducational groups, cognitive behavioral therapy, and problem-solving sessions. Additionally, Andy’s House provides coaching focused on interpersonal processes, helping clients gain insights into their social roles and relationship dynamics, which fosters transformation and healing. Their aftercare program spans two years, allowing clients to maintain connections with their support systems while discussing their recovery journey. Family support services are available indefinitely, offering weekly group sessions to families regardless of the client's current program status. To ensure personalized care, Andy’s House limits its capacity to 15 clients at a time. The setting of Andy’s House is an elegant Victorian mansion featuring generous living spaces, designed to create a nurturing home-like atmosphere. It includes outdoor areas and a swimming pool. To enrich their clients' experience, Andy’s House integrates a variety of holistic and alternative therapies, such as art and cinema therapy, physical fitness programs, daily journaling, and yoga, alongside evidence-based treatment modalities.

The rehabilitation center focuses on addressing substance use disorders by providing stabilization, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking individuals to empathetic support systems.
