Be Collaborative Care

be Collaborative Care is a dedicated facility focused on the treatment of eating disorders, providing tailored therapeutic approaches and varying degrees of outpatient support. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, be Collaborative serves adolescents, adults, and individuals from the LGBTQ+ community who are dealing with issues such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, compulsive overeating, and other eating-related challenges. The center's mission is to address the root causes of these disorders and any accompanying mental health issues like anxiety and depression, facilitating a deeper understanding of the connections between food, eating, and emotions through a combination of individual and group therapy alongside nutritional and fitness coaching. The center offers two intensive outpatient programs (IOP), one in the morning and one in the evening. The morning IOP operates four days a week, while the evening IOP runs five days a week. Each program includes meal support and group therapy sessions addressing subjects such as body positivity, personal values, and self-esteem. Participants engage in practical experiences that help them navigate everyday challenges, such as meal prep, grocery shopping, cooking, and dining out, as well as enhancing their communication skills with family and friends. be Collaborative exclusively accepts commercial insurance and does not partner with any public or community plans. Commercial insurance is provided and managed by private or public entities, not by government programs. The center does not work with Medicare, Medicaid, or other state-supported community health plans.

At our center, we exclusively accept commercial insurance. We do not participate in any Public or Community health plans. Commercial health insurance refers to the coverage offered by private and public entities, distinct from government programs. Please note that we do NOT accept Medicare, Medicaid, or any State-supported community or public health programs (for example, UnitedHealthcare Rite Care or Neighborhood Health Community Plan).
