Their specialized knowledge encompasses a range of addictions and co-occurring conditions, including ADHD/ADD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, pornography issues, trauma, feelings of loneliness, attachment challenges, and familial disputes. As a faith-oriented facility, Capstone emphasizes that “Capstone is indeed a Christian treatment center, distinguished by its unparalleled level of professional competence and care. Every facet of Capstone reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ, yet these principles are never imposed on clients. It is not a church camp; rather, it is a nurturing environment where young individuals are supported, believed in, and advocated for.” The center offers a comprehensive 90-day residential program structured into four distinct phases, which include non-medical detoxification, daily group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step facilitation, canine-assisted therapy, and three individual therapy sessions weekly. Upon arrival, each client is greeted by a puppy, and during designated “Puppy Time” sessions—held around lunchtime—clients engage in canine therapy designed to foster a one-on-one bond with their new companions, which is integral to their recovery process. This therapeutic approach benefits those who have faced depression or trauma, helping them to develop trust and a sense of safety. Clients build strong connections with their puppies, emphasizing the emotional support they provide, and often take these pets home as part of their family. Capstone Treatment Center features 4,000 square feet of cabin-style accommodations, along with an advanced exercise center, a ropes course, and a disc golf course on the premises. The center is staffed by compassionate professionals offering various unique therapies. It holds accreditation from CARF and operates on a private pay basis.
