About
Chi Hullo Li, a rehabilitation center run by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and situated on their reservation, serves as a residential treatment hub for Native American women and their families. The center allows women to reside there with or without their children while engaging in a comprehensive long-term program that focuses on cultural and spiritual identity, as well as physical and emotional well-being, education, and parenting skills.
To qualify for this program, applicants must be females aged 18 or older, possess a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB), reside in the Choctaw service area if they are not a member of the Choctaw tribe, and provide documentation of physical or mental health challenges linked to a substance use disorder. All prospective residents are required to undergo a telephone screening and fill out an admissions application. Cases involving court referrals are evaluated individually.

Providers Policy
At Chi Hullo Li Women’s Recovery Center, we understand that financial concerns should never be a barrier to receiving the care and support that women need on their journey to recovery. Our facility is committed to making treatment accessible for all eligible participants, guided by our mission to empower Native American women and their families.
Our center primarily accepts funding through the Choctaw Nation's healthcare programs, which may cover various aspects of our residential treatment services. Additionally, we work with a range of private insurance providers to ensure that our residents can access the treatment they deserve. Each individual's insurance coverage will be reviewed as part of the admission process to determine the specifics of benefits and any out-of-pocket expenses.
For women who do not have insurance or whose coverage is limited, we offer a sliding scale fee structure, assessment of financial need, and information regarding potential funding sources. We encourage all prospective residents to reach out to our admissions team for a comprehensive understanding of payment options and assistance.
To initiate the process, interested individuals must complete a phone screening and admissions application. Our team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring that you receive the support necessary to begin your recovery journey.
