Child and Family Service O'ahu, situated in Ewa Beach, is dedicated to assisting individuals of all ages, including children, teens, adults, families, veterans, and seniors, who are grappling with challenges related to substance abuse and mental health, particularly those impacted by domestic violence or sexual trauma. The center offers both outpatient and in-home services that prioritize trauma recovery within a secure and encouraging setting, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each client. At Child & Family Service O'ahu, therapeutic interventions include individualized, group, and family counseling integrated with recreational activities such as play therapy and excursions to foster recovery and personal growth. Additionally, life skills training empowers clients to cultivate coping mechanisms, enhance their interpersonal relationships, and boost their self-esteem, contributing to their overall well-being over the long term. The facility also features specialized initiatives aimed at promoting enduring family wellness. The Refugee Employment Program assists refugees by providing job readiness training, counseling, and employment placement services to help them gain stability and independence. Furthermore, the complimentary Mālama Ola program offers support for expecting parents and families with infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) through home visits, prenatal services, counseling, parenting guidance, and assistance with essential needs.
