To qualify for admission, applicants must be male, at least 18 years old, possess a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB), reside within the Choctaw service area if they are not a member of the Choctaw tribe, and demonstrate a physical or mental need linked to a substance use disorder. Each candidate is required to undergo a phone screening and submit an admissions application. Cases involving court-related matters are evaluated individually.
