Corner Canyon Health Centers (Corner Canyon) specializes in the treatment of mental health issues through a wide range of evaluations, therapies, and cutting-edge interventions. They also address dual diagnoses involving substance use and behavioral addictions. Comprehensive clinical evaluations and genetic assessments allow for tailored treatment plans that cater to each individual's specific needs and conditions. Following residential care, clients have the option to enter partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs while residing in transitional housing provided by Corner Canyon. The treatment philosophy at Corner Canyon is built on four foundational elements: evaluation, innovative treatment methods, brain-focused approaches, and transition support. They conduct health, psychological, and psychiatric evaluations. Innovative therapies such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, stellate ganglion block, neurofeedback, and nutritional psychiatry facilitate a holistic recovery process. Their six-week ketamine-assisted treatment program offers qualified clients a ketamine injection followed by a one-on-one therapy session to help process their experiences. At Corner Canyon, clients participate in both group and individual therapy sessions weekly. Their therapies are grounded in evidence-based practices and include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and equine-assisted therapy. Holistic options like mindfulness meditation and music therapy are also available. Corner Canyon creates an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ clients, accommodating them alongside peers that share their gender identity. The center’s trauma-informed approach focuses on complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as a variety of mental health challenges such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, anxiety disorders, suicidal thoughts, and personality disorders. Nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, the center offers unique recreational activities year-round. Clients can transition smoothly into Corner Canyon's outpatient services, which feature adaptable partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). Clients participating in PHP are expected to live in Corner Canyon's 15-bed transitional housing facility.
