Set against the backdrop of Utah’s stunning landscapes and accommodating a maximum of 16 clients, the facility fosters a nurturing atmosphere that incorporates evidence-based, experiential, and cutting-edge therapies for enduring wellness. Adopting a comprehensive approach, Maple Mountain considers every facet of a client's well-being, including physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual health. Their holistic program combines a wide variety of evidence-supported therapies with innovative treatments, such as individual and group sessions, medication management, experiential techniques, and functional medicine practices. At Maple Mountain, the healing journey transcends conventional therapy, incorporating equine therapy, nature excursions, and indoor activities. Clients, under the guidance of a therapist, work with horses to navigate trauma, enhance self-confidence, and acquire coping strategies. Outdoor experiences like hiking and kayaking promote mood enhancement, stress reduction, and a greater connection to nature. Indoor activities, such as rock climbing and jiu-jitsu, provide physical challenges and emotional development, reinforcing focus, self-worth, and resilience. These dynamic experiences, whether on a trail, in water, or engaged in physical activity, equip clients with effective tools for recovery and self-regulation. The center also boasts an array of amenities designed to enhance client comfort and satisfaction. Facilities include a sauna, fitness center, lush two-acre grounds, nutritious organic meals, a theater room, and round-the-clock staff support. Clients are accommodated in private or shared quarters with queen-size beds, many featuring en suite bathrooms, and they have the flexibility to use their cell phones.
