Situated in downtown Omaha along the Missouri River near the Iowa border, this center emphasizes experiential therapies and holistic recovery, helping individuals reconnect with their true selves. Among the various therapies offered are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), nutrition groups, and multifamily as well as process groups. Their engaging therapies involve yoga, movement, psychodrama, art therapy, and cooking classes. EDCare Omaha addresses a wide spectrum of eating disorders, including bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSEFED). They also provide specialized programs focused on binge eating and sports performance issues.
Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, EDCare Omaha acknowledges the healthcare disparities faced by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals with larger body types.
