Elite Recovery

Elite Recovery, operating under Horowitz Health, is situated in the Twin Cities region. The center provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP), available both face-to-face and online, typically spanning 16 to 24 weeks. Their outpatient services include strategies for relapse prevention, the Minnesota Matrix Model, anger management counseling, and access to medically-assisted treatment providers, among other resources. The in-person IOPs are tailored by gender, and there is a distinct program for the LGBTQIA+ community named Elite Affirm, which requires a minimum commitment of 12 weeks. Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 12:35 PM, with participants transitioning to a reduced schedule after the initial 12-week period, moving to 4 days a week, followed by 3 days a week. For those enrolled in the partial hospitalization program (PHP), residency in one of Elite Recovery's sober living facilities is mandatory. Participants will engage with a licensed substance use counselor for at least one hour weekly during the first five days after admission. Additionally, each individual will undergo a thorough assessment by a clinician to create a personalized treatment plan. These treatment plans are evaluated weekly to adjust goals and methods as necessary. Medical services offered include psychiatric management, medication-assisted treatment, and nutritional counseling. The program also features peer recovery support services and treatment coordination aimed at linking individuals with essential community resources. Participants are required to complete at least 8 weeks, with programming hours totaling 25 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 2:15 PM. Lunch is provided during the program, while other meals are not included. Elite Recovery collaborates with various sober living homes to provide affordable housing solutions for men, women, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Participants earn housing credits based on their outpatient attendance at Elite Recovery, which can be applied towards their housing expenses. Monthly housing costs range between $550 and $1200.
