Forge Health Mahwah

Forge Health Mahwah is situated in the northern part of New Jersey and provides both in-person and online outpatient services for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges. The center offers three different treatment modalities: therapy and counseling, outpatient services, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Forge Health has a particular emphasis on addressing co-occurring disorders, especially those related to trauma and PTSD. At the outpatient facility, clients can enjoy an environment filled with natural light and soothing surroundings conducive to healing. A skilled therapist manages the program, employing trauma-informed methods and stress-reduction techniques rooted in mindfulness. Participants can engage in various types of counseling, including individual, group, psychoeducational, and couples sessions. The therapeutic approaches available include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. With its LegitScript certification, Forge Health is authorized to work with both public and private insurance providers.
