This center, located in Oklahoma and accredited by CARF, offers vital support to children, adolescents, and families within Canadian County through trauma-informed behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. It provides various levels of care such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential treatment specifically designed for teenagers. Additionally, the center operates an alternative educational facility for those who encounter difficulties in conventional school settings and also offers secure detention services managed by mental health professionals. Residents of the county can access these services at no cost, enabling young individuals to tackle challenges and forge paths toward healing and achievement.
The center emphasizes a strengths-based, trauma-informed methodology grounded in evidence-based approaches. Therapeutic services include individual, group, and family counseling, case management, wellness support, and peer recovery initiatives. The focus is on addressing mental health and substance use issues, with treatments adhering to recognized care placement standards. Through Camp HOPE and the year-round Pathways mentoring initiative, the center provides further assistance to youth who have faced trauma, utilizing structured activities, educational opportunities, and stable role models to foster confidence, resilience, and a sense of community.
The facility features a secure juvenile detention center with 28 beds, a 12-bed residential program for adolescent substance use treatment, as well as an alternative education center. Young clients can receive services within a safe, organized environment that includes visitation areas, interview rooms, and outdoor recreational spaces. Monthly events, group mentoring sessions, and transportation collaboration work to mitigate barriers to access, cultivating a therapeutic atmosphere that empowers youth and families to develop emotionally, socially, and academically while progressing toward healthier lifestyles.
