The inpatient program at Lakeside-Milam features medically supervised care that adjusts to the unique needs of each individual. Treatment strategies encompass one-on-one counseling, nutritional guidance, physical rehabilitation, relaxation methods, stress-reduction techniques, and 12-Step support. Additionally, Lakeside-Milam conducts a family education program, equipping families with essential resources to promote their collective recovery. The center encourages attendance at meetings for Alcoholics, Narcotics, or Cocaine Anonymous. Since its inception in 1983, Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers has assisted over 100,000 individuals and developed a vibrant alumni network. Each quarter, the center organizes an alumni dinner, complete with guest speakers, offered at no cost to former clients. An annual summer gathering featuring food, games, face painting, raffle draws, and live music is also held. To further connect, private Facebook groups and an alumni app are available for members of the Lakeside-Milam recovery community.
