LifeStance Health operates multiple facilities across the country, offering a dedicated team of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners to assist individuals dealing with various mental health and substance use challenges through both in-person and online private therapy sessions. Located in the eastern area of Portland, Oregon, this center addresses a wide range of issues including mental health conditions, process addictions, grief, life transitions, postpartum depression, and more.
At LifeStance, a highly esteemed team of therapists collaborates to create individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns for clients regardless of age. The center provides care for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. In addition, they offer support for substance abuse and process addictions, including eating disorders and hoarding, as well as interventions for school avoidance in teenagers. They also feature specialized services tailored to the unique needs of men and women, psychosis, postpartum challenges, couples therapy, grief, insomnia, and childhood behavioral issues.
The personalized care at LifeStance is managed by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified practitioners and social workers who collaborate closely. Treatment strategies may encompass various therapeutic techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused therapy. For children and teens, additional evidence-based methods such as narrative and play therapy might be integrated into their treatment.
Clients and their families can access a range of services including adult or child and adolescent psychiatry and therapy, group sessions, and family therapy, tailored to their specific needs. New parents facing challenges with life transitions, mental well-being, or sleep disorders are also supported. Beyond therapeutic interventions, LifeStance offers neuropsychological and psychological testing, as well as evaluations.
Comprehensive mental health services are available five days a week, from Monday to Friday, provided both virtually and face-to-face. LifeStance Health collaborates with most leading insurance providers to facilitate access to their services.
