Little Creek Behavioral Health is a residential treatment facility located in Conway, Arkansas, that focuses on addressing mental health and behavioral challenges in young individuals aged 12 to 18. The center employs a trauma-informed, evidence-based methodology to deliver compassionate care. Treatment methods include various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), life skills instruction, and mindfulness practices. As of May 2023, Little Creek Behavioral Health is exclusively accepting clients from outside Arkansas.
Additionally, Little Creek Behavioral Health offers a unique program known as Deaf Connections, designed specifically for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. This initiative aims to provide hearing-impaired youth the same level of access to treatment for mental health and behavioral issues as their hearing peers, with appropriate accommodations and support. The program is staffed by licensed professionals, including those with hearing impairments, ensuring a relatable and comprehensive approach. The average duration of participation in this program ranges from six to twelve months.
