Mariners Inn is dedicated to assisting adult males aged 18 and older in their journeys to overcome addiction, mental health issues, and gambling problems. The center provides a variety of programs, including residential, outpatient, and preventive services, with an emphasis on support for young adults and those facing homelessness. Special attention is given to individuals who experience relapse, offering them an opportunity for renewed long-term recovery and personal development. The treatment approach at Mariners Inn combines scientifically-backed methods with holistic practices. Participants engage in both individual and group therapy sessions, 12-Step programs, as well as creative therapies such as art and music. The offerings extend to vocational training, parenting education, trauma recovery, relapse prevention strategies, and financial skills development. This comprehensive, whole-person strategy promotes healing in the emotional, mental, and physical domains while equipping men with the tools necessary for independent living. Residents benefit from a supportive environment that is devoid of alcohol and drugs, which fosters sobriety and self-sufficiency. They can stay in shared accommodations for up to 90 days, or participate in extended stay options as needed. Available resources include drum circles, poetry sessions, yoga, sound therapy, and assistance with obtaining a GED and securing employment. Additionally, each man receives guidance through transportation assistance, peer mentorship, and access to a robust alumni network, all aimed at ensuring a stable and successful future.
