Moonlight Mountain Recovery is a serene facility designed for men and women facing challenges with substance abuse and dual diagnosis. This center provides both individual and group therapy sessions, along with various engaging group activities. Specializing in the treatment of opiate addiction, Moonlight Mountain Recovery aims to deliver personalized care. The approach incorporates the 12-Step framework alongside evidence-based therapies. Throughout their time in recovery, clients can anticipate a comprehensive experience that includes holistic and experiential modalities. While a stay of 90 days is encouraged, a minimum commitment of 30 days is required. Group therapy sessions are intentionally kept small, with a limit of 8 participants and a favorable 3-to-1 client-to-staff ratio. The center features on-site AA meetings, equine therapy, yoga, and mindfulness practices. Therapy options available include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), couples therapy, SMART recovery, biofeedback, involvement in the 12-Step program, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET). Moonlight Mountain Recovery provides drug and alcohol detox services and maintains a 24-hour crisis hotline with admissions specialists ready to assist. Most major insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted, and the facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. This center is housed in a spacious two-story single-family residence featuring five bedrooms and four bathrooms, offering both private and semi-private living arrangements. Clients can take advantage of amenities like a cozy, private movie theater, a living room with an inviting fireplace, and a fitness area. The expansive backyard includes a covered patio and seating for relaxation. Clients are served three consistently balanced meals daily in the dining area.
