Situated on the slopes of Haleakala, Nova Luna Center offers a serene environment for individuals recovering from eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Utilizing a day treatment approach, clients are able to engage in intensive support while continuing to manage their everyday responsibilities. The center focuses on helping individuals rediscover their inner resilience and insight. Nova Luna specializes in tailored treatment that includes one-on-one therapy, group sessions, nutritional guidance, and hands-on therapies such as equine therapy and somatic practices. Clients are encouraged to examine the interplay between their relationship with food, their emotions, and their sense of self-worth within a nurturing atmosphere. Through these structured experiences, they cultivate enduring skills for achieving balance, embracing self-acceptance, and fostering lasting recovery. Staffed by a team of seasoned professionals, including therapists, a naturopathic doctor, and an counselor specializing in intuitive eating, the center develops customized recovery strategies. The treatment process starts with a comprehensive 90-minute clinical evaluation, followed by a carefully organized admission procedure. Programs vary in duration, offering options such as day treatment and intensive outpatient care, to provide adaptable, ongoing support for effective healing.

At Nova Luna Center, we work with various insurance plans, including HMAA, UHA, HMSA PPO/HMO, and HMSA Quest. For those with HMAA, please note that prior and ongoing authorizations are required. Additionally, services at Nova Luna Center might be eligible for coverage from other insurers, so please let our team know if you're utilizing different insurance. Clients are liable for any expenses not included in their insurance coverage.
