This rehabilitation center, known as Odyssey, is led by a woman who began her journey with substance use at just 11 years old. Her path ultimately brought her to a transformative treatment program where she was introduced to a 12-Step Program, equipping her with essential skills for maintaining a sober lifestyle. Now, she dedicates her efforts to managing the women’s sober living facility, helping others find genuine healing. Odyssey's primary goal is to offer a secure, drug and alcohol-free living space for women across the Seattle region. A safe and supportive environment is crucial for a successful recovery process. The center fosters a sense of community among residents, encouraging them to support one another in their sobriety journeys. Regular drug testing is part of the program, and residents are expected to engage in a recovery process that includes attending daily 12-Step meetings and participating in private therapy. Each woman at Odyssey also learns the value of responsibility by contributing through household chores, returning to work, pursuing education, and engaging in community service.
