Situated in the Hampton Roads region, this rehabilitation center provides two tiers of care: partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). These services are available for both adolescents and adults. Additionally, they offer an evening virtual IOP from 4-7pm specifically for clients in Virginia. The PHP is designed to prevent the need for hospitalization and assist clients in transitioning from inpatient or residential care. This program ensures thorough care with treatment sessions lasting 6 hours per day, 5 days a week. The IOP targets clients whose symptoms have escalated and who are not making progress in their ongoing therapy or outpatient programs. It offers treatment for 3 hours a day, available 3 to 5 days each week. The professional team at the center specializes in addressing conditions such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring neurodivergent issues. They employ a mix of evidence-based therapies and alternative treatment methods to support holistic healing. The most frequently utilized therapeutic approaches include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapies, mindfulness practices, yoga, nutritional counseling, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). A therapy dog is also part of the supportive environment in their Norfolk location.
